Elizabeth Bare Will
I Elizabeth Bare - widow of John Bare deceased of Fannett Township
Franklin Count and State of Pennsylvania Being sickly and weak in bod but
of sound mind, memory and understanding, bless the Lord for it, and
considering this Certenty of Death and the uncertainty of the time
thereof, and to the end I may be the better prepared to leave this world
when ever it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and
declare this my last Will and Testament in Manner following that is to
say - First and principly I Commend my soul into the hands of Almight God
my Creator hoping with him to injoy everlasting happiness in his heavenly
kingdom through Jesus Christ my Saviour and my body AI commit to the
earth at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named. I will that
all my just debts as shall be by me owing at my death, together with my
funeral Expenses, and all charges touching the proving of or otherwise
concerning this my last will Shall in the first place be paid - I will
and bequeath unto my fore Granddaughters Elisia Miller, Moriah Miller,
Hariet Miller, Anne Miller all my best clothing to be equally divided so
that they have share and share alike in said clothing. - I also will and
bequeath unto my Grandson AJeremiah Miller fifty dollars to be paid to
him at the age of twenty one years and I do will give and bequeath all
the remaining parts of my Estate personal & real unto my dearly beloved
son Simon Miller and to his proper use and behof and I make & ordain the
Said Simon Miller my son sole Execxutor of this my last will & testament.
In Witness Whereof I the said Elizabeth BAre to this my last will &
testament contained in one sheets of paper set my name & seal this tenth
day of October eighteen hundred and thrity three

In the name of God amen, I Michael Bear of Fannet Township being so and
troubled with sum infirmities but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to
god calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is
appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will
and testement. That is to say principle and first of all I give and
recommand my soul into the hads of the almight god that gave it and my
body AI recommend to the earth to be buried in a Christian desent manner
at the discreation of my executors my son John and David Bear, whom I do
appoint for that purpose. Nothing boubting but at general general
resurection I shall receive the same again by the almighty power of God
and as Touching such worldy estate wherewith it Hath pleased God to bless
me within this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the
following manner and form first I give and bequeath my beloved Wife
Margareth all the personal Estate except Bonds and cash which shall be
put Towards paying my Lawfull debts and if ever my Wife should be willin
to give up to her sons said personal Estate then Her Sons are to build
her a AHouse for to live in and provide for her a Comfortable living in
all ANecessaries to Sustain Nature with paying her three hundred pounds
immediately and she may dispose of said money as she pleases and provide
for her yearly during her life Twenty pound of Flacks she is able to have
her choice out of my Estate of two milk Cows for which my sons are to
provide as much Hay as Necessary and as much Meat and bread as she stands
in need during her life item secondly ther is also to be a House at the
expense of my Estate of stone, Thirty feet long and twenty eight feet
broad two story High on the farm_____________ where I am now a living sd
Farm is to be dived in two equal parts as near as possible by the help of
five Honest men, then apraised by the same five men in order to know the
Value of each Tract and the Land as has been bought from Andrew Duglas is
also to be apraised in order tht the land Estate among my sons shall be
alike for the money as one tract will be more Value as the other shall be
paid towards my Lawfull debts and my son John shall have the first choice
of the three treacts of land and next my son David and if my two
unmarried daughters should marry they must be furnished by my sons with
such Necessarys as I have done by the maried ones and I do allow each of
my daughters to be paid by my sons two Hundred and fifty pound excepty my
daughter Elizabeth. I do allow her three hundred pound Lawfull money of
Pennsylvania and whatsoever my daughters have received in Goods or
Chatties shall be taken out and allowed out of Their two Hundred and
fifty pound and I do allow that in seven years from this date my sons
shall pay fifty pound to every one of my daughters and so every year
until their legacies is fully paidl Likewise I do allow my Grand son
Simon Miller one Hundred pound out of my Estate and to be paid by my sons
when he shall be twenty one years old and by Neglecting paying this
legacy to anyone when due them shall be interest to whom it is due. And
I do utterly disanul all ther Testaments by me any wis befor Named
Ratifying and confirming this to be my last Will and Testament in Witmess
I have set my had and seal this 6th day of April One Thousand eight
Hundred and one,
