When they emmigrated, they were still afraid of the officials.
Thinking that America was like Russia, they physically hid their
children under the train seats when traveling from port of entry,
Baltimore, and Loveland CO.
Three sons were in service at the time of emmigration and never
were able to emmigrate. Pete Langmacher walked with the family
from Stahl (Stall), to embarkation point (Odessa?, on the Black
Sea). Marie remembered him carrying her much of the way.
After the family arrived, all except Chris went to Loveland, CO.
Adam returned later to Nebraska and became a well off farmer (see
photo7.db). They orginally stayed with John Hergenreder and
Katherine (Aunt Katie Lehman) in Loveland, CO, for an Unknown
period time.
