Name spelled: Forebeck in Naturalization Papers - 1850 census Foorbeck.
Native of Orchiarfunburg, Germany. Came to the U.S. thru New York in June
1846.Settled in the Bethel Township area of Fulton, Co., PA. Naturalized
in Fulton Co., PA in 1868. Served in the 3rd MD Regt. during the Civil
War.(No Pension Record). Died Indianapolis, Ind. in the Meth. Hospital.

Married twice raised first family in Fulton Co., PA. After marrying 2nd
time moved to Lansing, MI. Was an officer in Capt. Cardiffs Co., was
raised
in Fulton Co., PA. mustered into service 2 Dec 1861. Later this Co. was
transfered to the 3rd MD. Regt. Buried Gunnisonville Cem DeWitt Twp.
Clinton Co., MI. Sec 23 of Cem. Occ.: Farmer. Was living in Great
Cacopon, WV (Morgan Co.) on 26 Sept 1883, when he wrote a letter to his
attorney about his war pension for duty in the War of the Rebellion. In
pension records does not mention any children by his frist wife.

home after falling & breaking his hip. Lived in Cacapoon, WV in log
cabin.
Worked in brick yard P/T. When he was little had a fever that would not
break.Moved to Jerome, PA. around 1920 w/family to work in coal mines. SS#
PA 167-03-2555.

Lucinda's mother, Barbara, was living with her when she died. They also
were living near the village of Dott, Fulton Co., PA. Buried Cedar Grove
Cem.Fulton Co., PA. Lucinda had cancer & was treated in Indianapolis, IN
in 1903. A Catherine Steel, age 61, was listed as living with Wm. &
Lucinda
Mellott in the 1860 census.

Will left property to Richard Foreback; cash to Nellie Whisner & furn. to
