In the name of God amen I John Bear of Fannett Townships Franklin County and State of Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding, do make and constitute this my last will and testament . It is my will & I do order and direct that all my just debts and funeral espences be duly paid as soon as convenient after my decease out of my personal property. I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth all my houshold and kitchen furniture I may die possesed of except my clock and desk which I give and bequeath unto my grandson Isaac Bear Rine at the death of my wife Elizabeth I further give and bequeath to my wife two milk cows to be fed and postured at the Expense of the person or persons who may enjoy the farm on which I now live and to have the use of the Stable now kept for the purpose so long as she remains my wido likewise the house I now live in with the Starden and the houses attached the houses and garden to be kept in good repaid at the expense of the person who may enjoy the farm on which I now live also that my wife receive from the same person annually during her widowhood fifteen bushels of wheat and seventy five pounds of beef and the priviledge of the orchard for her own use also as much good firewood hauled to her door ready cut as she may want for her own use during her widowhood. I give and bequeath unto my son-in-law Michael Rine my silver watch in trust to be delivered to my grandson John Rine as soon as he shall think him fit to use it and as touching that part of my real estate which I now live on with nine acres of land adjoining Robert McCormick (Except what is heaeafter expected) it is my will that my son-in-law Michael Rine enjoy it untill my youngest grandson shall arrive at the age of twenty one years at which time it is my will that my two grandsons with Michael Rine their father mutually choose three reputable citizens to value the aforesaid porperty & it is further my will that Isaac Bear Rine shall have the first choice of the land at the appraisment aforesiad by his paying seven eighths of the sum to which it may be appraised to his father brother and sisters in the following orderthat is to his brother John Rine on eight of the appraisment one year after said appraisment takes place, and to his father Michael Rine one eighth, two years after said appraisment, and three years after said appraisment one eight to his sister Margaret Rine and four years after said appraisment one eight to his sister Elizabeth and five years after said appraisment one eight to his sister Catharine Rine and six years after said appraisment one eight to his sister Sarah Rine, and seven years after said appraisment on eight to his sister Nancy Rine and in case of his refusal to take the land at the appraisment then John Rine is to have his choice on the terms aforesaid but if the said John refuses then my son-in-law Michael Rine is to have the choice by complying with the terms aforesaid but in case neither the said Isaac Bear Rine, John Rine or my son-in-law Michael Rine shall think proper to take the before mentioned lands at the appraisments then it is my will that the said lands be sold for the best price by my son-in-law Michael Rine, Isaac Bear Rine and John Rine and the amount thereof to to be equally divided between my son-in-law Micahel Rine and all my grandchildren before mentioned them to share & share alike as touching the rest of my real estate I give and bequeath unto Simon Miller the son of my wife Elizabeth the tract of land or plantation I purchased from John Newman adjoining the lands on which I now live on the following terms that is that the said Simon Miller is to pay unto my wife Elizabeth yearly & every year one third of the rents of said lands if by her demanded, and he is also to pay fourteen hundred and ninety six dollars to my heirs before mentioned in the following manner one year after my decease he is to pay to my Executors for the use of my Grandson Isaac Bear Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars, and in two years after my decease he is to pay to my Executors for the use of my Grandson John Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars, & in three years after my decease he is to pay to my son-in-law Michael Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars Y in four years after my decease pay unto my Executors for the use of my Granddaughter Margaret Rine one hundred and eighty seve dollars Y in five years after my decease pay to my Executors for the use of my Graddaughter Elizabeth Rine one hundred eighty seven dollars and in six years after my decease pay unto my Executors for the use of my Granddaughter Catharine Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars and in seven years after my decease pay unto my Executors for the use of my Granddaughrter Sarah Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars, and in eight years after my decease pay to my Executors for the use of my GRanddaughter Nancy Rine one hundred and eighty seven dollars which sevearl sums are to be paid to my heirs by me Executors when they come of age or to their guardian as soon as due by the said Simon Miller, I give and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth thrity six perches of land part of the tract I now live on and used as a burying ground to her and my rleations forever and not to be used or occupied for any other purpose whatsoever, I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth the Interest that my arise from that part of my personal property not otherways divised in this my will that the principle be equally divided between my two Gradnsons Isaac Bear Rine and John Rine or all to go to the survivors of them. And lastly I do herby nomiate consistue and appoint my trusty friends David Bear & John Alexander Executors of this my last will & testament hereby revoking and disannuling all former wills heretofore by me made in witness whereof I have here unto set and affixed my had & seal this 1st day of January 1830
